The President wants no part of calling the United States a Super Power.  He is reluctant to tell the Russians that the West won the Cold War. That would be counter productive to his intentions of weakening the US to a level of Russia, France, Great Britain or Germany. If that’s not his intentions, what is? Every time he goes over seas, he bends over and takes it from a foreign leader. He makes the US look weak and apologetic.

It’s getting very old and very transparent. Either the White House is pushing an agenda to drop the US from Super Power status, or this is the worst foreign policy since Jimmy Carter. In fact, I’m not so sure the Carter administration didn’t have one up on Obama. It might be too early to compare.

What do the video “Say, Say, Say” and the Obama town hall meeting on national health care have in common?  The answer: there both about con-men trying to sell the public false promises.

In the music video “Say, Say, Say” (click to view), Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson play two con-men traveling from town to town, coning the public for money.  Yesterday President Obama held a town hall meeting in Virginia (click to view) to answer questions on his health care proposal. Much like the video “Say, Say, Say”, this was nothing more than a show.  The press learned that the questions that would be asked at the town hall meeting were pre-screened. This is a con on the American people to sell us a bad Bill. It’s big con to get our tax money and have the Federal Government take over a huge part of the private sector.

What ever happened to that “Stimulus Money”?  It was suppose to create and save hundreds of thousands of jobs. If that were the case then states tax revenues would be going up.   I will tell you what the problem is. The Stimulus Bill was nothing but a Big Government waist.  First off, most of the money will not be spent for some years. Second, the money that will eventually be spent along with the little that is being spent now, is wasted.  Don’t get me wrong. Fixing highways and bridges is a good use of our tax money. There was a lot of that in the Stimulus Bill.  But did that really provide new jobs? NO! Did it really save jobs? NO!

Lets follow some of the money. The Fed hands out Stimulus Money to a state for use on roads. The state creates work for its already employed road crews to fix roads. Again, these are already employed road crews that were already on the state pay roll. Would these road crew employees’s have been laid off if the Stimulus Money had not come?  NO! This is why 48 states are facing budget shortfalls.  Now stretch this example out to every aspect of state government. It does not take long to realize that all the Stimulus Bill did put a band-aid on the broken leg of some states.

It could be argued that with the Stimulus Bill, the Fed already bailed out some states.  When asked about a second Stimulus Bill, the Obama Administration avoids the question tap dancing around the issue like they do so well.  Now that the Democrats have a filibuster proof Senate, nothing is off the table.  Obama may be holding strong on not bailing out California, but that does not mean Congress can’t bail them out with Stimulus #2.
